2 cups white bread dough (one batch from bread machine – or one loaf of thawed Rhodes Bread)

Let rise in greased bowl.
At 4 o’clock add:
2 cups cold water
1 cup sugar
4 tbls lard
Flour (about 5 cups, or more)

Knead well. Cover and let rise. At 9:00 o’clock, make in to rolls and place on greased cookie sheets. Cover and let rise over night. Bake at 350 for 13-15 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Brush with butter.
