1/3 cup wild rice
1 pkg yeast (2 ¼ tsp)
2 ½ cups liquid (water rice cooked in, plus enough to make 2 ½ cups)
¼ cup brown sugar
½ cup molasses
1 tbs salt
¼ cup oil
¼ cup potato flakes
7-8 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice 1 hour, start in cold water (3-4 cups). Save liquid. Dissolve yeast in ¼ cup warm water. Add liquid, sugar, molasses, salt, oil, potato flakes and 2 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Add cooked rice and remaining flour. Knead 5 minutes. Place in oiled bowl, let rise till doubled, punch down and let rise again. Punch down and shape in to 3 loaves – place in greased loaf pans. Let rise and bake at 350-375 for 45-50 minutes. Brush with butter.
