2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
4 T. red wine
blend together and then add:
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
mix well

Directions:

follow above and then add 1 box currants. Place currents in colander and rinse with cold water first then drain. drop cookies by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.
