Ingredients: |
Ingredients: 4-6 cans green beans (french style ideally) 2 cans mushroom soup 1 container parmesean cheese 1 cup of milk red pepper +/- cajun seasoning to taste (1/2-1 tsp) 1 package sliced almonds optional: fried onion topping

Directions: |
Directions:1) In a cassarole dish, cover the bottom with a layer of greenbeans 2) Combine 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 of the pamesan cheese, and 1 cup mushroom soup in a bowl along with seasoning (red pepper and/or cajun seasoning) 3) Cover the 1st greenbean layer with the above sauce 4) Place another layer of green beans down to cover the dish 5) Combine 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 of the Parmesan cheese, and 1 cup mushroom soup in a bowl along with seasoning (red pepper and/or cajun seasoning) - note: sometimes I do not add the seasoning to this layer so that the dish is not too spicy 6) Cover the top of the 2nd layer of green beans with the above sauce again. 7) Cover now with the remaining Parmesan cheese (should be about 1/2 container) 8) Now sprinkle sliced almonds on top. 9) Cook at 375 for approximately 45 minutes or until hot and bubbling 10) You can add french onions if desired (add about 10 minutes before done cooking so they are toasted but not burnt) |
