Ingredients:
3 cups Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tbsp. Milk
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 cup Shortening
1 cup Peanut Butter
1/2 cup Light Karo

Directions:
Directions:
Cut peanut butter and shortening into dry ingredients. A pastry blender works really well. Blend in Karo and milk. Shape dough into 2 - 2" rolls, wrap in wax paper and chill

Slice 1/8" or 1/4" thick, put slices on ungreased cookie sheet. Put a dab of peanut butter on each slice, cover with another slice and seal with fork.

Bake in 400º oven for 10 min.

The dough can be frozen and sliced when you ant fresh cookies. I also have sliced 1 roll right away and chilled the other until later.
