1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or 1 cup applesauce
1 cup applesauce
3 eggs or egg replacer
3 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 cups white flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups raw oatmeal
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
optional ingredients:
Chopped nuts, flax seed, wheat germ, bran

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375*. Spray cookie with Pam
Put dry ingredients in mixing bowl. In separate mixing bowl, mix wet ingredients, then pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Mis well. Form dough into round cookies by hand or by tablespoonful. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes.
