Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Need liver and heart from the turkey innards

1 Apple
1 stalk of celery
1 onion
1 liver
1 heart
2 bags of dry seasoned bread crumbs
1 large container or a couple of cans of chicken or turkey broth
poultry seasoning
garlic
salt and pepper to taste
oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. Chop the onion and celery into small pieces (sometimes I use a frozen bag of mirepoix). Fry in a little oil until onion is translucent.
2. Add liver and heart to pan.
3. Cut up apple into cubes and add to onion mixture.
4. Once liver and heart are cooked remove and chop into small pieces, the small the better. (I put in a small food processor). Return to pan.
5. Season mixture with salt, pepper, garlic, and poultry seasoning.
6. Add some of the broth to the mixture in the pan.
7. Put bread crumbs in large bowl.
8. Pour mixture from pan on top of the bread crumbs.
9. Mix ingredients adding broth as needed to moisten the bread crumbs. Add broth depending on how dry or moist you like your stuffing.
10. Put the mixture in a baking dish or crock pot.
11. Bake at 350º to heat through about an hour. Or can put in crockpot for about 8 hrs on low.
