1 box yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1 stick oleo, melted
8 oz cream cheese
1 lb. box confectioner's sugar

Directions:
Directions:
For crust:
Mix oleo and cake mix, then beat 1 egg and add to mixture.
Mix with fork and press into a 9" x 13" pan.
For cake:
Cream together the cream cheese, 2 eggs, and sugar.

Pour sugar and cheese mixture over the crust. Bake 50 minutes in 325º oven.
Let cool. Cake will fall a little bit.
Cut into squares.

Mrs. James Lewis of Johnson City, TN. gave this recipe to me in 1970 and I have enjoyed making it ever since. Some say it is like the Neiman-Marcus cake. I don't know where she got the recipe, but we like it!
