2 to 3 pounds lean ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
1 medium green pepper, diced
garlic cloves, minced
chili powder, salt and pepper
oregano
pickling spices
1 small tomato paste
1 tomato sauce
1 can diced tomatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Saute, beef, onion and pepper; drain off fat. Add garlic, chili powder, salt and pepper to taste. Add in the tomato paste, sauce and enough diced tomatoes for desired thickness. Mix well. Add in oregano and mix. Wrap approx. 1 tablespoon pickling spices in a small cooking bag or in cheese cloth. Drop the bag into the sauce; make sure it is covered and simmer the sauce for at least an hour -- longer is better.
