8 oz self raising flour
3 oz sugar
3 oz butter
dried fruit -optional
1 egg beaten
spot of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Rub butter into flour till fine bread crumbs
Add sugar, mix
Add dried fruit-optional
Add egg and milk and mix to rolling consistency
Roll out to 1/8 thickness
Grease griddle or fry pan and cook each side until golden brown
Serve warm or cold
Freeze well
