"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

1 cup pumpkin puree
¾ cup old fashion oats
4 tablespoons all natural peanut butter
2 eggs
1 large carrot, grated

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
In a separate bowl or mixer, beat together pumpkin and peanut butter until smooth, then mix in eggs until fully mixed.
Gradually add flour and oats mixture until a dough comes together, then fold in grated carrots.
Knead for a couple of minutes or until dough is no longer sticky (add a little more flour if dough isn’t sticking to itself) then turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface.
Roll dough out to a ¼ inch thickness and cut out with cookie cutters. Transfer the treats to a lined baking sheet and place in the oven. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until treats are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely before giving to the dog.
