1 cup soft butter
1/3 cup whipping cream
2 cups flour
Little white sugar

Frosting
1/4 cup soft butter
3/4 cup confectioners sugar
1tsp vanilla
Food coloring - optional

Directions:
Directions:

Heat oven 375

Roll 1/3 of dough into 1/8 inch thick. Using 1 inch round cookie cutter, cut out rounds and place waxed paper covered in white sugar. Coat both sides of cookies then place on ungreased cookie sheet and prick with fork 4 times. Bake 7-9 minutes until set (not brown).

Filling
Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. Add desired food coloring.

Spread filling on one cookie and top off with another cookie!
