1 cup butter
2 cups sifted flour
1/3 cup thick cream

Filling
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and cream. Slowly add flour. Chill. Preheat oven to 375º Roll out 1/8' thick on floured cloth covered and cut with 1 1/2' cutter. Roll only 1/3 of the dough at a time and keep the rest refrigerated. Put on wax paper covered with sugar. Turn each round and cover each with sugar place on ungreased baking sheet. Prick with fork 4 times. Bake 7-9 minutes. Cool and put 2 cookies together with filling.

For filling cream all ingredients together.
