Pie Crust:
3 cups flour
1 cup lard
salt
1 egg
1 tablespoon vinegar
5 tablespoons water

Filling
2 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg unbeaten
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon nutmeg
3 cups apples diced fine

Spicy Topping
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter
Directions:
Directions:
Line a 9" pie pan with pastry.
To make filling sift together flour and sugar then add: egg, sour cream, vanilla and nutmeg. Beat until smooth thin batter. Stir in apples. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 400 ºF for 30 minutes

To make topping combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Sprinkle over pie. Return pie to oven and bake for additional 10 minutes at 400ºF
