1/2 cup peanut butter
12 cup butter
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup whole wheat (fresh ground) flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Melt butter and peanut butter together. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until well blended. Press into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake in preheated 350ºF oven for 25-30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.

This recipe originally came from the Bread Beckers, who were popular when everyone was in the whole grain/ whole wheat craze. We really like Peanut Butter bars and the fiber really helped me when I was in the hospital waiting for the twins to come. Seth would make them for me and bring them to the hospital. I was very grateful! :)
