5 c. mini marshmallows 1 pkg. (18-1/4 oz.) chocolate cake mix 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling 1 carton (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
Sprinkle marshmallows in a greased 13x9 in. pan. Prepare cake mix according to pkg. instructions. Pour over marshmallows. Spoon pie filling over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Frost with Cool Whip. Store in refrigerator. Yield: 12 to 16 servings.
