1 large sliced French bread loaf
6 large eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. brown sugar, divided
1/4 c. butter
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
1 c. pecans, chopped

Directions:

Grease a 9x13 baking dish and arrange bread slices in one layer in the dish. In a large mixing bowl, add eggs, milk, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla and 3/4 c. of the brown sugar, stirring well to mix. Pour mixture evenly over the bread. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and the remaining 1/4 c. of brown sugar, stirring well. Top the bread with blueberries and pecans. Then drizzle the melted butter and brown sugar mixture. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown on top.
