2 sticks butter
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon coconut extract
1 teaspoon rum extract
1 teaspoon butter extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk

Glaze:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon each of coconut, rum, lemon, vanilla and almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, shortening and sugar; add eggs until lemon colored. Combine flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternating with milk. Stir in flavorings. Pour mixture in greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.

Combine glaze ingredients in heavy saucepan; boil and stir in sugar until it melts. Pour half of mixture over cake while in pan. Let cool, then take tube cake from pan and pour remainder glaze over the cake.
