3 lbs. Cooking Apples (Macs, Cortland, etc.)
1 tbsp. Sugar
1 tbsp. Cinnamon (combine sugar with cinnamon)

1 1/2 Sticks of Butter
1 c. Sugar
1 c. Flour
1 Egg

Crumble Topping

1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. flour
2 tbsp. soft butter

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice apples . Mix with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Put in square slightly greased and floured cake pan.

Melt butter and mix with flour and sugar. Add beaten egg and pour over apples. Bake 35 min. at 350. Remove from oven and increase heat to 400 degrees. Mix crumble ingredients and sprinkle topping over filling. Return to oven and bake 10 minutes longer or until golden brown.
