Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This pie was always a staple at Grandma Gross's...it was wrapped in foil and given to family and friends as they left her home. These pies were also mailed to her Mississippi State Representatives in Washington, D.C. as a "good faith" gesture to get a bill passed re: the cleaning of the creek beside her and so many other homes. This bill began making its way to D.C. after a flood occurred in the early 90's and almost took her life. She was saved by a Sheriff's deputy that had gone by to check on her.
