3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat butter on medium speed for 30 seconds. Beat sugars, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Beat in as much of the flour as ou can with mixer, stir in remaining flour and rolled oats. Stir in chocolate bits, coconut and pecans. Batter will be very thick.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Transfer to rack to cool.
To Store:
Layer between waxed paper in an airtight container with a cover. Store at room temperature for up to 3 days (if they last that long) or up to 3 months in the freezer.
