1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1 med. egg
2 cups self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Glaze:
3/4 cup sifted confectioners sugar
3 to 4 tsp. water

Cookies:
Cream together butter and sugar. Blend in egg. Add flour and vanilla. Refrigerate dough--roll in small quantity, place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350'.
Glaze:
Blend together the sugar and water and brush tops of cookies while still warm.
