2/3 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
4 teaspoons milk
2 cups flour - sifted
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs. Beat until fluffy. Stir in milk

Sift dry ingredients into wet ingredients

Chill 1 hour.

Pat out to 1/8" thick. Bake at 375 degrees for 6-8 minutes.
*Add 1 minute for air-bake pans.
