1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup white cornmeal
1 pinch sugar
1 egg
Milk or Buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Add dry ingredients and mix well.
2. Add egg and mix until clumpy
3. Add milk until the batter is just pourable.

- While mixing ingredients, place an iron skillet with a little bit of vegetable oil on the top of the stove to heat. When ingredients are mixed, pour into hot skillet and spoon some of the hot oil over the top of the batter. Place into the oven. Bake at pretty much any temperature until browned on top.
