3 or 4 qt. jars
Cucumbers, sliced thin
3 c. water
3 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp.salt, per jar
1/4 tsp. garlic salt, per jar
Head of dill, per jar

Directions:
Directions:
Fill quart jars with thin sliced cucumbers. To each jar add 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. garlic salt and put a head of dill on top.

Make a cold brine with the water, sugar and vinegar. Pour cold brine over cucumbers and seal jars. Place in canner. Heat slowly until pickles change color. DO NOT BOIL. Turn off heat and cool in canner.
