Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1-5 oz. can evaporated milk
1 c. whole milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
Snow!

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first five ingredients until well blended. Add enough snow to get desired consistency.

The amount of snow needed depends on how wet it is. Dry, fluffy snow makes the best ice cream. And as always, don't eat yellow snow! ;)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
A Facebook note from 2-10-14, the last snow day in Portland that week before the big thaw: Kids tried it with chocolate syrup, and also added snow cone flavorings.:) It was rather like a milkshake consistency but super cold!
Shari took Jaime with her family to the 2013 World Quiz meet at the Nazarene general assembly in Indianapolis.
