1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 pkg yellow cake mix with pudding
3 eggs
1/2 cup cold water
1/3 cup oil
1/2 cup dark rum - 80 proof

Glaze
1/4 lb butter
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup rum

Cake
Mix all ingredients for cake preparation together (except pecans/walnuts)
Grease pan and sprinkle pecans/walnuts over bottom of pan
Pour batter over nuts
Bake for one hour at 325 degrees using a bundt cake pan
Cool for one hour & then prick the top of the cake to allow glaze to be absorbed

Glaze
Melt butter & add water and sugar
Boil for 5 minutes
Remove from heat and stir in rum
Pour glaze over cake while glaze is still warm
