1 pkg spinach
1 head lettuce
1/2 lb. bacon
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
Dressing:
1/4 c. white sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/3 c. cider vinegar
1 c. salad oil (not Olive Oil)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon, cool and break into bits. Combine first 4 ingredients, set aside until ready to serve.
Mix dressing ingredients in a blender for 1 minute. Makes more dressing than needed for one salad. Drizzle and mix dressing over salad ingredients just before serving. Dressing should be at room temperature for better flavour. Store left-over dressing in refrigerator.

I often cut up and add fresh strawberries to add colour. I combine the first 4 ingredients before needed so flavour of bacon blends.
