1 Cup Yeast
1 Cup Warm Water
2 Cups Buttermilk
3/4 Cup Shortening (Crisco)
11/2 Teaspoons Salt
1/4 Teaspoons Baking Powder
6 Cups Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add buttermilk, shortening, salt, baking powder, and flour to yeast and mix well. Put the mixture into a bowl of covered with plastic wrap, and let it rise a little. Put out on a flour surface and cut out circles. Bake at 425 degrees until done.
