4 Tbsp. cream of tartar
4 Tbsp. arrowroot starch
2 Tbsp. baking soda

"Put a flour sifter in or over a bowl and place the ingredients in the sifter, in the exact order given. After all of the ingredients are in the sifter, sift them into the bowl. Re-sift them into another bowl, and continue until you have sifted them 4-5 times and they are thoroughly mixed.

"Place the baking powder in a clean, dry glass jar with a metal lid and store in a cool, dry cupboard. Make sure the jar is tightly closed! Prolonged exposure to air can spoil the effectiveness of the powder. Use within 3 months."
