Ingredients:
Thawed whole turkey
Yellow onion, chopped
Garlic cloves, peeled but whole
Red wine
Seasonings, e.g. salt and pepper, poultry seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
After removing giblets etc. season the thawed turkey all over with desired seasonings, including under the skin. Cut small holes in the turkey and insert whole garlic cloves; cut ones are too strong. Put some onion in the turkey cavity. When turkey is in the roasting pan, pour red wine over the top and in the cavity, and then bake covered with tin foil.
