2 tbsp veg oil
1 cup uncooked rice
1 large onion - diced
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
48 oz of canned tomatoes - diced
1/2 cup ketchup
1 cup water
3 tsp paprika
3 tsp+ chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Brown rice in oil. Brown hamburger and then add remaining ingredients stirring well. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover. Simmer, stirring once or twice for at least 20 minutes depending on type of rice used. Add more water if necessary.

Delicious after an outing and is great reheated. Rice type may require longer cooking. Spices can be added to desired "heat" level. A good meal to prepare and package for use on the trail, camping or later in the week.
