Dry Onion Soup
optional: vegetables like potatoes, carrots or onions

Directions:
In a crockpot, 8 hours before serving time, place roast or brisket in crockpot on low. Pour beer over the roast until completely covered. Put one packet of dry onion soup over the brisket or roast. Slice your vegetables, like potatoes, carrots or onions, and place beside the roast in the beer. Cover. There's nothing that you need to do until you're ready to service.

Note: Keep fat on roast or brisket. Cut the fat off before serving.

Leftovers: I typically utilize the leftovers of the brisket or roast, broth and vegetables to make a vegetable beef soup. Place the brisket or roast, broth and vegetables into a crocket pot and add a can of vegetable soup. Serve with warm biscuits on a cold day. Delicious!
