1/2 stick butter
1 cup flour (can use self-rising)
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder (if not using self-rising flour)
1 tsp. salt (if not using self-rising flour)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º.
Mix dry ingredients together then add milk. Put butter in 2 quart casserole. Place in oven while it preheats. When butter is melted remove from oven. Pour batter in center of butter. Spoon 1 can pie filling, any flavor except lemon or chocolate. Bake for 40 minutes till batter rises over fruit and it is lightly browned. Serve warm or cold.
