Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6, 1 pound pork chops
2 c soy sauce
1 c water
1/2 c brown sugar
1 tbsp dark molasses
1 tsp salt
1/3 c water
1, 14 oz bottle Heinz Ketchup
1, 12 oz bottle Heinz Chili Sauce
1/2 c brown sugar
1 tbsp dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Take soy sauce, water, brown sugar and salt. Mix together and bring to a boil. Let cool. Put the chops in a pan with the bone-side up. Put the sauce over the pork chops and let stand over night in refrigerator. Next day take pork chops out of sauce, place in a baking pan and cover tightly with foil. Bake about 2 hours at 375 until tender. While pork chops are baking combine all red sauce ingredients in heavy sauce pan or double boiler. Dilute dry mustard, sugar and water together leaving no lumps. Bring all ingredients to a slight boil. After chops are tender remove from oven and dip chops into red sauce and bake for 30 minutes at 350 until slightly glazed. For extra flavor, grill on a charcoal grill for not more than 15 minutes.

Personal Notes:
The Embers was a restaurant in Mount Pleasant--the kind of place people went for celebrations before eating out became commonplace. They were known for these huge pork chops.
