1 pint sour cream
2 packages of frozen peas
1 small can Spanish peanuts
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Spread peas on a terry towel to dry. Mix rest of ingredients together. Add peas, refrigerate several hours.

The Embers was a restaurant in Mount Pleasant--the kind of place people went for celebrations before eating out became commonplace. Aunt Marge included this recipe in the recipe box she made me for graduation.
