3 T. instant tapioca
2 T. sugar
2 C. water
dash of salt
1 tsp. lemon juice (optional)
3 peeled and cubed oranges
1 - 6 oz. frozen orange juice (partially thawed)
1 - 10 oz. package frozen strawberries or raspberries
sliced banana (1/2 banana for each serving)

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar, tapioca, salt, and 1 C. water in heavy saucepan and bring mixture to a boil.
Boil 1 minute. Pour into a bowl and add rest of water (1 C.). stir well. Add berries and orange juice. Stir well
Refrigerate.....this is a cold soup.
When ready to serve, add 3 cubed oranges.
Put sliced banana in serving bowl and pour fruit soup over.

GRANNY SAYS.....Sherry got this recipe from an Inn at the Amana’s in Iowa one year when she and her family stayed there. She loved it! I have made it a few times too, and love it.....a very refreshing soup on a hot day! And ....healthy!
