1 c. sugar
1 c. dark Karo syrup
3- eggs
1/2 - 1 t. vanilla
1 c. whole pecans
1/8 t. salt
1 pie dough, see recipe for homemade pie dough or use store bought

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Prepare pie dough in a pie plate, I prefer glass. Do not bake.
Mix sugar, Karo syrup and eggs in mixing bowl. Be careful not to stir up eggs too much.
Add vanilla and salt. Mix.
Fold in pecans.
Pour in prepared pie dish.
Bake for 40-45 min.
Place a large sheet of foil on the bottom oven rack to catch the spillage.
