Several apples (or peaches) sliced thin
sugar
cinnamon
1 stick of butter, cut up
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg


Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Place apples (or peaches) on bottom of oblong buttered pan
in a thick layer
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, dot with butter
Into mixing bowl, sift 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, baking powder, and salt.
Break the egg into this mixture and mix until crumbly.
Put over the apples (or peaches) and bake at 350º until the crust is brown.

Serve with milk, whipped cream, or ice cream
