1 c Crisco
3 c sugar
6 eggs, separated
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 c buttermilk
2 tsp lemon flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together Crisco and sugar
Add, mixing after each addition, 6 egg yolks
Sift together flour, soda, and salt.
Add dry ingredients alternatively with buttermilk.
Add lemon flavoring
Beat until stiff 6 egg whites and fold into mixture.
Pour into ungreased tube or bundt pan and bake at 325º for 1 hour and 20 minutes
Let stand 20 minutes before removing from the pan.
