1 Duncan Hines Golden Butter Cake Mix
Oil, eggs, water, etc for cake mix per instructions

5 tbsp butter or margarine
1 (15 1/4oz) can crushed pineapple
3/4 c. sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix per instructions
Measure out 3/4 c. of batter and set aside
Bake rest of cake in oblong pan.
While cake is baking, mix 3/4 c. of batter with butter, pineapple, and sugar
Cook mixture over medium heat until thick
Spread over cooled cake
