2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup shortening
3 eggs
4 cups flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients. Form into long rolls about 2 inches around. Refrigerate until firm (may also be frozen to bake later.) Cut into ¼ inch slices, place on grease cookie sheet. Bake at 350º about 10 minutes or until golden brown. They will melt in your mouth
