˝ cup chopped carrots
˝ cup chopped onions
˝ cup chopped celery
1 Tablespoon butter
4 cups chicken broth
1 box of wild rice with original seasoning
12 ounces of cooked chicken breast, cubed
2 Tablespoons flour
2 Tablespoons butter
2 cans low sodium cream of chicken soup

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté vegetables until almost tender. Add broth and rice along with seasoning packet. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes. Add the chicken and continue to cook until the rice is tender. Make a paste with the flour and butter, stir into the hot mixture. Cook until thickened, then add the two cans of low sodium cream of chicken soup. Add some milk if soup becomes too thick.
2 cups of half and half can replace the 2 cans of cream of chicken soup.
