2 packages quick acting dry yeast
2 ½ cups lukewarm water (105-115 degrees)
¾ cup soft shortening (or melted)
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs beaten
8 to 8 ½ cups flour
2 ½ teaspoons salt

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in warm water. Add shortening, sugar, eggs, 4 cups flour and salt. Stir and beat with mixer until smooth (about 1 minute). Stir in remaining flour. This will be soft dough. Cover tightly and store in refrigerator until needed. When ready to use, punch down dough, shape into rolls and place into greased pans. Cover and let rise in warm place for 1 hour or until double in bulk. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
