2 c. white sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
2/3 c. water
1 qt raw peanuts

1 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp butter flavoring
2 tbsp butter/margarine
2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, syrup, and water together until sugar dissolves then add peanuts and cook until hard while stirring constantly.

Cook until candy thermometer reads 305ºF or until a small amount dropped into water makes a long strand.

Remove from heat and add Vanilla, butter flavoring, margarine, and baking soda.

Spread mixture about 1/4 inch thick onto buttered and greased foil or sheet pan.
