2 sticks (1 C.) softened butter
3/4 C packed brown sugar
1 C. sugar
2 eggs
1 T. vanilla
3 and 1/2 C. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
10-12 oz bag mini chocolate chips
1 package Oreo cookies

Oven 350 degrees
Cream together butter and sugars with a mixer until well combined.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Mix together the dry ingredients in separate bowl, flour, salt and soda.
Add dry ingredients a bit at a time to the sugar/butter mixture. Mix until well combined. Add chocolate chips. Combine well.
Take fairly big spoonful of dough and add to the top of an Oreo and another scoop to the bottom. Seal the edges of the dough, completely covering the Oreo.
Bake 9-13 minutes until golden brown.
Let cool about 5 minutes in pan then remove.

GRANNY SAYS......Keaira found this interesting recipe for me, probably on the internet, and wanted me to try it for her. So I did and they were indeed a very good cookie! Good job Keaira! I love new and different cookie ideas. I first tried using the regular size chocolate chips, but the mini ones work much better. But you can use the regular ones if you want. Ok, Keaira, waiting for another fun and interesting recipe..... ; )
