2 c. flour, 2 c. sugar , 1 stick butter, 4 t. cocoa, 1/2 c. buttermilk, 2 t. cinnamon, 1t. vanilla,
1/2 c. shortening, 1 c. water, 1t. soda, 2 eggs, dash of salt.

Directions:
Directions:
Boil in a saucepan: butter, shortening, cocoa, & water.
Pour over flour & sugar.
Add to this: soda, buttermilk, cinnamon, vanilla, eggs, & salt.bake in 17x11 pan, 20 min, @ 400*.
Boil: 1 stick butter, 4T. cocoa, 6 T. milk,1t. vanilla + 1 c. nuts.Remove from heat, add 1 lb. pwd. sugar, beat & pour on hot cake.
