1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
2 overripe bananas mashed (1 cup)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter; blend eggs and bananas. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Blend nuts into batter.

Bake in greased loaf pan for about 1 1/2 hours at 350º. Makes 2 loafs.
