1 c. margarine
1 c. vegetable shortening (Crisco)
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. milk
7 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 pound raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine, vegetable shortening, sugar, eggs and milk. Add dry ingredients (mixed together). Stir in raisins. Roll dough 1/4" thick and cut out. Fry on un-greased electric frying pan over low temperature (360º). Turn when brown; turn only once.
