6 medium potatoes
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
4 tablespoons onion, finely diced
2 to 4 tablespoons vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and chop up potatoes. Cook in boiling salted water until well done. Mash with butter and milk. Add beaten egg and stir constantly over low heat for one minute. Add onion,vinegar, salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.

I remember Mommee making this, but nobody seemed to know exactly what she put in it. This is my version and tastes close to the original.
